On board of plane from Prague to London Stansted

Latest additions to my gear increased its weight up to 17 kilos. It's not a problem for Easyjet, only for my back. I found that out very soon while carrying my backpack and my handbag for the first time to Vaclav Havel airport.

I guess it's "Omnia mea mecum porto." Unpleasant surprise was the extra charge of 35 Euros I was issued for my backpack to be stored in luggage hold of the plane. I knew it could not go on board before hand, that was obvious I just thought somehow that it was already included in the ticket price. Apparantly, I can expect a similar charge from London to Lourdes. So much for my intended budget traveling from the start. However, I will recheck my flights back to Prague which I have reserved already for May 15th.

Now I am in the air, at the beginning of this incredible journey and the reactions of some of my friends are crossing my mind when I told them about this trip. "You are an idiot!" : I had to laugh at this one especially after putting my backpack on me. Thanks Peter, now I got your point.
