7th day: Los Arcos - Logrono
29,5 Kms (cum.166,1 Kms)
The so called Semana Santa is a very big event for many Spaniards with Spain being notoriously catholic country. When I ended up in Logrono, I just realized that being a witness to a procession marching through the town. Anyways I was lucky that the paroquial Albergue has taken me under the roof even though there were no vacant beds and I had to sleep with three other German pilgrims on the floor.
Apart from blisters reaching a certain point where their treatment was necessary, my right ankle becomes to be swollen and hurts when walking, I don't feel like having a day of rest or walking less however.
On the stop for second breakfast

The only spot available to sleep was on the floor in a paroquial Albergue belonging to the local cathedral during Semana Santa in Logrono
